FIRST RESPONSE
"righttttt
no.1 positive: the female singer character is believable, Georgina fits in with the sound of the music like she looks as she is expected to
no.2 positive: the narrative and plot is correctly shown like its evident that the boyfriend is acting shady and is with another girl and no.3 positive: I like the black and white and cuts from each scene and how they transition

no.1 negative: the music gets louder where it's been cut and restarted
no. 2 negative: obviously the male character not being Jonny like would have been slightly more serious as using a girl to play a boy character made it more funny"
SECOND RESPONSE
"I think that this video belongs to the R&B genre, but could also be associated with Pop. I think this because of the actual song that has been used, and also because I think that a typical narrative for this genre is the 'cheating' story, which this video obviously follows. The shots that feature the main girl in the video singing are quite like videos from this genre as they show the confident attitude of the character.
POSITIVES
1. As I mentioned I think that the video has a really clear storyline which is easy to follow. Because the events are in chronological order I found it easy to understand what was happening which allowed me to sympathise with the girl and really get involved with what was happening to her.
2. I really liked the way that you put the shots of the singer in black and white as I feel they made them more sophisticated and reminded me of a Beyonce video.
3. The short scenes such as the lipstick on the collar and the phone ringing are really obvious signifiers for when someone is cheating, making the video really relatable for many young women who have been through a similar experience.

1. One negative that I would suggest is that because the male is actually played by a female, it makes the video very humorous. This contrasts with the serious sophistication of the black and white singing shots and makes the mood confusing.
2. In some parts the editing of the shots is a bit jumpy, which takes away from the overall professional look of the video.
3. Finally, I feel that perhaps the shots are all a bit too long, which could result in the audience losing interest."
It became evident that it wasn't appropriate to the nature of the music video to use a girl playing the boyfriend character and it would have increased the authenticity factor if I had used an actual male, however as I previously mentioned I hadn't intended on doing so but my originally casted J dropped out the night before filming and it would have been hard to rearrange a time suiting the timetables of the others involved.
I also recognise that the editing of the video is a bit jumpy and doesn't flow particularly well at times but I put this down to my lack of experience with the Premiere Pro software, however if I were to do it again I would ask for more guidance and probably give myself more time to get familiar with the programme before jumping in with creating my final piece.
