So there are a number of places that I'll be using within the house location for my home set the main areas being the bedroom and the living room, I also want to use the stairway and the landing for a brief scene that's quite important to the narrative. I think it's important that I get a varied set of camera angles in order to build up the fluidity of the final product so that clips aren't lasting for too long but instead can be seen from a number of perspectives that can be cut to. It also makes the product more visually appealing and generally more interesting to the viewer if there are a wide range of camera angles so that they are kept on their toes and taking note of everything they're seeing.
These are a angles I was considering using for my video. Part of the narrative is that Kally is looking through the washing when she finds lipstick on J's shirt and this is one of the signs he's been cheating on her. I thought I could build up the scene by seeing her walk up the stairs before she gets to the landing to look at the washing therefore using a different camera shot than what may have been expected.
I know that I will definitely be incorporating a scene where Kally throws the boyfriends clothes out of her bedroom window as she's kicking him out, so I was thinking I could start with a picture of the wardrobes from which she grabs his clothes and continues to chuck them out. I will also use this shot, where you can see the car for when J is coming home to find his clothes are being chucked out and we can look down on him; this will also be a connotation for how he should be treated for his deviant actions and he is below Kally who is in the right.
For the scene where J is at home with another girl (Lexy) I though I'd use the living room and show them looking quite close and intimate on the sofa. This will be shown from a couple of angles hopefully and the audience will be able to recognise that this is in their own home and following the narrative better.
